Adopt-A-Park-Greenspace is a
initiative fostering the involvement of local residents in improving our
community's beautification and aesthetics. Any local organization or
individual(s) can participate in this wonderful community program to help
enhance Hebron's parks. As a participant, you will benefit from the
satisfaction of giving back to the community as well as public recognition for
your efforts. These include a plaque at the adopted site, mention on the Hebron
website and in the Parks & Recreation brochure. The program's general
qualifications are: plant a site in May which would provide color and beauty to
public areas in town; then complete a spring and fall clean up of your selected
site.
Currently, the Parks & Recreation Department is seeking
participation by individual(s), local associations, businesses, churches,
neighborhoods and other organizations. For more information on participation
and responsibilities, please contact the Parks & Recreation office at
228-5971 x129. This is a chance to be involved and show our price in Hebron!
